Your opportunity…
Candidates should have extensive experience within Marketing Research sales and business development; plus have the demonstrated ability to sell at senior levels in top-tier companies.
Successful candidates will be well versed with formal marketing research consultative sales skill sets, will inspire confidence, and will have a strong self-motivation to control their destiny in a highly visible, performance orientated environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage existing clients by firmly establishing strategic relationships that result in landing large/recurring revenue deals.
Create sales plans and strategies to develop business with NEW Top Tier accounts.
Build and manage a new business pipeline from account identification, through bidding, proposal and closing stages.
Must be able to identify the client’s customer insight needs and creatively harness insights solutions to address them
Must demonstrate sales leadership with timely and accurate reporting of revenue, profit, pricing, competitive activity, new business activity etc.
Must have the demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quota.
5 to 10 years experience selling highly customized insights solutions, with a demonstrated ability to understand client needs; and the ability to work with the client strategically to meet those needs.
Proven track record of closing new business and meeting or exceeding sales quota.
Ability to sell complex research programs to top-tier clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to write winning proposals.
Driven, articulate, confident and polished: with high integrity and professionalism, a good presenter and a good listener.
Enthusiastic and passionate about research and insights.
Must be able to travel as needed.
BS/BA; MBA or MMR/MSMR a plus.
Proven ability to develop strategic high-level relationships in client accounts.
