A highly successful Wholesale Apparel Company in NYC is looking to hire a Design Director with experience in Girl’s apparel. 

Job Qualifications

• Experience with Fashion/Apparel Designing for Children’s Apparel.
• Able to manage large teams (6-8) – oversee project timelines, designers’ work flow, multi-tasking, etc. 
• Excellent communication skill is a must, the candidate needs to be able to handle a large volume of emails per day, communicate professionally with external partners, communicate effectively internally with Design teams, Sales team, and Production team.
• Collaborate with other Creative/Design Directors for trend shopping, showroom setup and company-wide processes.
• Evaluate and identify ways to improve current organization and processes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment as a team player who is focused on solutions and is able to multi-task successfully.
