Growing Manufacturing firm has a need for a Quality Manager in the Hartford, CT area. This is a direct hire opening with a full benefits package.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting audits, and managing the overall quality management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Manage the overall quality management system, including documentation, training, and monitoring of key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure consistent quality across all product lines
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality management systems to drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to establish quality requirements and resolve quality-related issues
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3+ years of proven experience in quality management
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methodologies
  • Experience in conducting audits and implementing corrective actions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
