Our client is looking hire a Maintenance Technician at their upscale 420 unit in Windsor CT– This is a direct position that pays a good wage and also have a terrific benefits package, including 401k match!

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive and comfortable condition. This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service,make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assist with the apartment make-ready process. The maintenance technician reports directly to the maintenance supervisor.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making any necessary repairs
  •  
  • Complete work orders in occupied homes while providing fast, friendly service
  •  
  • Follow preventive maintenance guidelines
  •  
  • Maintain property grounds
  •  
  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests
  •  
  • Team work to achieve property goals
  •  
  • Follow safety procedures
  •

  • Facilities maintenance experience is a plus
  •  
  • EPA certification a plus, but not required, will need to obtain with 90 days of employment

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Must be available after hours and weekends for on-call responsibilities (rotated schedule)
