PLC Controls Engineer

Location: Danbury, CT

Job Description:

This engineer will be serving as a do it all Controls & Instrumentation Engineer at an expanding high purity, MP specialty chemical tolling manufacturing facility with a new local plant well on the way. You will be joining a 200-person facility with a smart workforce (all the operators are degreed chemists). Your role will break down into roughly one third day to day support work, one third of small projects, and the last third being PLC/HMI coding with some power distribution work.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. Engineering (chemical, mechanical, electrical)
• 3+ years of controls or instrumentation experience out of manufacturing
• Must have some experience working with and coding of PLCs or DCS controls  
• Ideally have some exposure to power distribution systems and plant instrumentation
