Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Operations discipline • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related to Purchasing Plastic Injection Molded Products  or Metal Stampings  • Ability to thrive amidst frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and effectively navigate conflicts • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility • Willingness to undertake international and domestic travel, up to 10% • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities • As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, your primary role is to handle quoting, negotiating, and sourcing Direct Materials to support New Product Development. • Take charge of Purchase Contract development and manage relationships with the supply base for assigned new programs, providing ongoing support to global Supply Chain Analysts once production begins. • Enjoy the flexibility of shaping your work and leaving a personal mark on your output. • Continuously expand and develop your professional talents, skills, and knowledge. • Align the strategic supply base by identifying new sources globally or assisting existing ones to ensure continued growth and alignment with business goals for new products across global production regions. • Address global commercial competitiveness, technical ability and innovation, capacity, quality, and the ability to meet delivery/timeline expectations in strategic sourcing needs. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the company and critical suppliers globally. • Drive overall cost competitiveness throughout the supply base through optimization, negotiation, efficiency identification, design/manufacturing opportunities, and exploration of new suppliers. • Conduct high-level detailed capacity planning with suppliers, and resolve issues with those struggling to meet Husco’s needs. • Ensure successful launches of Direct Materials for new programs, meeting commitments in component and tooling costs, quality, capacity, and timelines. • Coordinate resources globally within the company and the supply base to facilitate successful and sustainable product launches. • Support the achievement of annual strategic goals by preparing detailed analyses and metrics of purchasing organization performance, developing plans, and setting objectives for the following year in collaboration with the Director – Strategic Sourcing and Supply Management. • Participate in New Program Design Reviews, offering insights into optimal component sourcing strategy, cost, lead times, etc. • Supervise and develop Procurement and Manufacturing Plant Supply Chain professionals globally, serving as a mentor and coach. • Demonstrate strong teamwork and contribute to results-oriented execution with meticulous attention to detail.
