Sr. Designer for Girl’s Apparel

An established Wholesale Manufacturer of children’s apparel in NYC is looking to fill a Sr. Designer position. This person will create designs for girls apparel ages 2-16, contributing to all stages of the design process, from concept creation to final production.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and trend-setting designs, ensuring they align with our brand’s vision and aesthetic.
• Contribute fresh ideas based on market research.
• Support sales/merchandising with preparing market presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Previous experience designing for girls apparel 2-16
• Strong portfolio showing your design skills.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and a keen eye for color, pattern, and detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Experience in art manipulation and creation.
