TITLE: Speech Therapist
LOCATION: Warden, WA

Community is about 25K population, facility serves about 77k. There is a small airport, a University, a nice community that offers something for everyone.

What they’re looking for:
•Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
•Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license.
•One year of acute care with bedside swallow assessment and treatments.
•One year outpatient experience with Barium Swallow studies in coordination with Diagnostic Imaging preferred
•Experience and ability to evaluate and provide care across the age continuum from infants, toddlers, pre-school, school-age, young, to middle-aged adults and geriatric patients.
•Experience in developing and growing inpatient and outpatient services with an emphasis on serving the pediatric population
•Preferred EMR/EHR experience
Hours and compensation potential:
•Position is full time
•Range is between $99K-$122K depending on experience.
•Full benefits package including relocation assistance(5K) and sign-on bonus(up to 15K).
What you’ll be doing:
•Join the team in providing high quality, inpatient, and outpatient services across the age continuum. 
•Responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to the inpatients and or outpatient population to include assessment, treatment, and care as well as participating in educational instruction with patients and patients’ families. 
•The Speech-Language Pathologist must be competent in the interpretation of a patient’s self-report, behavior, and understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological maturation process.  
•This person performs the evaluation, program planning, and treatment of patients in the areas of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, feeding, and swallowing, specific to age and developmental/functional level determined by assessment.
