Fast growing meat distributor is expanding the sales team and is looking for a protein sales rep toe help expand the Chicago and the Midwest territory
MUST HAVE PROTEIN OR PRODUCE SALES EXPERIENCE TO GROCERY
Responsibilities:
Sell various proteins to new and existing customers. Includes asking questions to pinpoint the best offerings, giving demos or presentations, and maintaining customer relationships.
Reach out to leads through a variety of channels, such as email, phone, text, and social media.
Negotiating with leads and using persuasion techniques to overcome objections and landing deals that are beneficial to the company, while also providing customers with optimal value.
Participate in company meetings with sales managers and other sales reps. Involves providing a recap of recent results and accomplishments.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts across large and small grocery chains
Qualifications:
2+ years of sales experience or account management from the protein industry selling to grocery stores
MUST HAVE knowledge of various proteins or produce; ideally meats, fishes, pork, chicken, lamb and related
Proactive
Excellent communication skills
Hungry to go after new business
Team player
Self-directed
Motivated by commission sales
Preferred experience:
BS/BA in Business, Operations, Economics, or related
