Position Overview 

This position provides fiscal and programmatic oversight of an all-male 20 bed OASAS-licensed Part 820 Reintegration Community Residence designed to assist residents in maintaining sobriety and develop life skills as they transition toward independent living. All shifts are stay awake shifts. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day clinical operation and staffing expectations of residence in accordance with OASAS Part 820 Reintegration services 
  • Develops and coordinates successful on-boarding of all new hires and provides routine supervision to all staff in accordance with OASAS standards 
  • Coordinates and reinforces evidence-based practices with rehabilitation and clinical treatment 
  • Works in conjunction with team to review, prioritize and provide outreach efforts to all referrals in accordance with all policies and procedures
  • Coordinates all admissions/discharges from the program 
  • Monitors program revenue and expenses 
  • Ensures all billable services are provided and documented timely in accordance with state, federal, company and insurance regulations 
  • May serve as “Health Coordinator” who will ensure the provision of education, risk reduction, counseling and referral services to all residents regarding HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases and other communicable diseases 
  • Completes all trainings required and ensures all staff are completing training as required as well. 
  • Contributes toward continuous quality improvement and monitors/reports on program outcomes 
  • Submits timely reports to agency, Community Services Board, and/or OASAS as indicated 
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational policies and procedures 
  • Provides direct services as needed and documents accordingly 
  • Attends various meetings/appointments representing program/agency, and/or resident 
  • Performs other duties as assigned 

Skills and Qualifications

  • NYSED Licensed Qualified Health Professional required including but not limited to the following credentials: CASAC (Advanced or Master’s level), PA, NP, RN, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC
  • Advanced CASAC, or Master level CASAC preferred 
  • 5 years of FT work experience in Substance Use Disorders, or related treatment field required 
  • 3 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment required
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of the practices and procedures of recovery-oriented substance-related individual and group counseling 
  • Strong communication, leadership, time management, and organizational skills required 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for required local travel
