Engaged, hands-on and collaborative EHS Professional with the ability to lead a plant level EHS program. Need to be a critical thinker with good sound decision making skills.
Must have at least (3+) years of well-rounded, plant level EHS experience within manufacturing operations. Metric-driven approach with the ability to use that data to deliver positive results and continue growing to higher levels within safety. Bachelor degree required in a technical field.
This position will lead the tactical and strategic direction of the program for a large, non-union facility. Responsible for providing leadership and compliance established involving EHS best practices and local/federal regulations. Lead the continuous improvement of the health & safety process for the site. Develop and implement safety systems and programs, audits, training, accident investigations, workers compensation and related activities. Basic environmental compliance experience.
Reports to the Director of EHS and directly supervises (2) EHS Technicians.
