The ideal candidate will be a PE expert adept at identifying real problems, providing real solutions, and, most importantly, communicating complex engineering principles in simple terms. Flexibility to travel around Florida and apply construction knowledge in various settings, including garden-style, mid-rise, and high-rise condos, and large commercial buildings, is required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Surveying properties and conducting structural assessments
  • Writing detailed building reports and scope outlines
  • Managing diaries and tasks to expedite cases and maximize resolution
  • Writing detailed and precise estimates
  • Statewide travel
  • Using available technology to be effective and efficient
  • Collaborating with other teams

MUSTs?

  • Bachelor’s degree, PE License, 2+ industry designations, 3+ years inspecting buildings, estimating property renovations over $150k
  • Relentless work ethic, self-motivation, and student mentality
  • Senior-level time management, professionalism, and organization
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with clients and management
  • Outstanding communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Curiosity and resourcefulness
  • Proficiency in CRM, Google Docs, and Sheets
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Territory travel (15% – 25%) and quarterly travel to Orlando HQ
