Job Description

 

Our client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer to be based in Sacramento, California. This role will support a wide variety of water projects with a special emphasis on dams and levees.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.
  • Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
  • Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.
  • Leads technical business development work.
  • Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise.
  • Approves and signs off on work.
  • Leader in one or more areas of technology.
  • Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects

 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • 5- 10 years water resources experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with geotechnical background / training  required
  • Experience performing geotechnical civil design for Water/Wastewater and/or levees and dams projects
  • Active California PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
