Job Summary:
Lead complex commercial roofing projects from pre-construction to completion. Collaborate with GCs/Owners, Engineers, Architects, Supervisors, and Subcontractors to ensure on-time, within-budget, and specification-compliant delivery.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Analyze and interpret contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, material data, technical bulletins, and trade data for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Provide technical support and translate complex information into clear explanations for stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety and building codes, securing licenses and permits as required.
- Select subcontractors based on qualifications and define work scopes for individual trades.
- Perform risk assessments, identify potential issues, and propose mitigation strategies.
Project Management:
- Manage project budgets, assign resources, and track progress against timeline and milestones.
- Oversee and train personnel in roofing system installation techniques.
- Manage vendor purchase orders, coordinate material deliveries, and maintain effective communication with all parties.
- Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle.
- Report project status and budget updates to clients and company management.
Communication and Leadership:
