Growing Manufacturing Co in the Cookeville, TN area has a need for a Sr Manufacturing Engineer. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package and relocation. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our production line. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize your technical expertise to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Identify and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime
  • Design and optimize production layouts, equipment, and tooling to maximize efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product launches
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and process-related issues
  • Evaluate and select suppliers, ensuring the highest quality standards are met
  • Participate in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production operators and maintenance teams
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and apply them to enhance our manufacturing processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and welding
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
