Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Blending Manager for a Beverage Manufacturer. The role of the Blending Processing Manager encompasses overseeing the complete blending process operation, which involves aspects such as staffing and training, productivity, personnel development, quality assurance, and safety.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 3 years previous leadership experience
- 5 years previous work experience in a Manufacturing Environment, specific to blending.
- Experience in the food/beverage industry
Job Duties
- Manages the daily operations of the blending department including the following: basic production scheduling, work assignments, employee supervision, counseling, employee safety, and administration of company policies and procedures.
- Ensures quality of the product produced as it pertains to blending juice to correct spec following processing guides.
- Determines correct blend of juice using incoming specs in QAD and blending them to correct spec levels while maintaining lot rotations.
- Reviews daily batches, ingredient usage, lot choice, downtime related to blending, and staging of ingredients. Reviews formula recovery and proper rotation of ingredients.
- Responsible for the Food Safety and Food Quality Program.
- Responsible for 2 Supervisors, 4 Leads and 12 Blenders.
Compensation
- We offer a very competitive base salary of $95,000 to $118,000, plus a bonus plan.
