Position: Accounting Manager
Salary: $80,000 annually, plus excellent benefits

About Us: Lazio Search Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager for our client to lead their Accounting Department. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can effectively manage accounting functions and contribute to our financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
- Lead a team of two direct reports, responsible for Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P).
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end close processes.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls.
- Coordinate and prepare for annual audits.
- Liaise with other departments to support overall company financial goals.
- Prepare financial analyses and reports as required by management.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar qualification is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with accounting software and systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
