An established Wholesale Manufacturer in NYC is looking to fill a couple Design position working with modern/contermporary women’s apparel. One person would work with primarily soft woven apparel with an emphasis on novelty details – Linen/cotton, items with embellishments, embroidery, cut outs, etc. The other Designer would work with both all wovens including tailored and soft wovens – blazers, pants, skirts, etc. as well as soft woven blouses. These products will primarily sell to off-price customers.
Job Qualifications
5+ years of experience designing women’s woven apparel
Must have excellent sketching ability – Proficient with Illustrator
Must be a team player that works well with others – Interacting with sales, production, tech, etc.
Must be detail-oriented and have superior organization skills.
Must be willing to go into the office 5 days/week.
