An established Wholesale Manufacturer in NYC is looking to fill a Design position working with women’s apparel. This person would work primarily soft woven apparel with an emphasis on novelty details – Linen/cotton, items with embellishments, embroidery, cut outs, etc. This product will primarily sell to off-price customers.
Job Qualifications
5+ years of experience designing women’s apparel with an emphasis on novelty soft wovens: Linen/cotton, items with embellishments, embroidery, cut outs, etc.
Must have excellent sketching ability – Proficient with Illustrator
Must be a team player that works well with others – Interacting with sales, production, tech, etc.
Must be willing to go into the office 5 days/week.
Must be detail-oriented and have superior organization skills.
