The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for order processing, shipping and receiving, and inventory control of finished product and will manage the movement of goods into and out of a company. They ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.
- Oversees and manages material handlers.
- Maintains and promotes safe working environment.
- Schedule and assign carrier for shipment and verifies those shipments daily.
- Prepare shipments for shipping, including packaging, and labeling.
- Track shipments and update customers on delivery status.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and other departments.
- Process paperwork, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Manages finished goods ensuring stock rotation.
- Manages and ensure shipments meet quality and accuracy standards.
- Determine the most efficient shipping methods and routes.
- Prepare shipping quotes for customers.
Requirements
- College degree or HS diploma.
- 3+ years of warehouse supervision experience.
- Shipping, receiving and inventory control experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
