Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Salary: $140-170K + Bonus + Paid Relocation + Sign-On Bonus
Shift: Day

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) to join our dynamic team in Santa Rosa, CA. In this role, you will perform diagnostic sonographic procedures as ordered by a staff physician, with minimal supervision from the Supervisor of Imaging Services. Your expertise will be crucial in providing high-quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts imaging.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and reports.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and evaluate diagnostic results.
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure it is operating efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in sonographic techniques and technology.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Medical Sonography program.
  • Certification: National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of recent experience as a Medical Sonographer in an acute care setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using advanced ultrasound equipment and software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
