Turning Machinist or CNC Milling Machinist on 1st Shift
2 or more years of machining experience operating CNC lathes OR mills and 1 or more years of setting up and as well as a strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T and G&M codes is a requirement
First shift hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
Pay is up to $40 hourly
Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder

This stable, established, growing, high-precision manufacturing company is looking to hire a full time, permanent Turning Machinist or CNC Milling Machinist on 1st Shift. The work environment is clean and temperature controlled. The company is always looking to be better and has a dozen continuous improvement projects going on at any giving time. The successful candidate’s duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:
Working first shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
Accurately running automated CNC lathes per specifications
Utilizing a variety of measuring instruments
Setting tools
Making tool page offsets
Investigating and troubleshooting issues
Maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Documenting as needed
Candidates must have a minimum background consisting of the following:
Two years of machinist experience setting up and operating lathes or mills
Strong ability to understand blueprints
An understanding of GD&T and G&M codes
Ability to follow safety requirements
Ability to utilize gauging and a variety of measuring instruments
