A world-class manufacturer  has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Tax Analyst based at our Cleveland, OH location.

What you will do:

  • Collect and analyze general ledger information and operational data for federal and state tax processing.

  • Prepare and file federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance and timely submission.

  • Develop and manage tax provision calculations, including current and deferred tax liabilities, for monthly and year-end processes.

  • Forecast and calculate federal and state income tax estimated payments, maintaining and reconciling tax general ledger accounts.

  • Support senior team members with state tax issues, including researching, documenting, and responding to state notices and audits.

  • Conduct tax research and planning, making value-added recommendations to optimize tax positions and compliance.

  • Perform special projects and assignments as directed by tax managers or the tax director, contributing to various tax-related initiatives.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.

  • Proficient in using tax software and general ledger systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Continuous learner with a passion for expanding technical and industry knowledge.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Relevant experience in tax compliance and accounting.

  • Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.

  • CPA certification is a plus.
