Our client, an innovative medical device company, is seeking a strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their growing Human Resources function. This position will serve as a key business partner in building high-performing teams across the organization.

In this role, you’ll drive end-to-end recruitment operations while serving as a strategic advisor to department leaders. Your primary focus will be on developing robust candidate pipelines and executing hiring initiatives that support organizational growth objectives.

Requirements of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or comparable discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of medical device recruiting experience with demonstrated expertise in managing complex hiring processes; background in medical technology, life sciences, or high-growth entrepreneurial settings strongly desired—cardiovascular or cardiac rhythm management sector experience is a significant plus
  • Documented track record of successfully identifying and securing niche talent in specialized technical or healthcare-related functions
  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of providing strategic guidance to executive stakeholders
  • Proficiency with candidate management platforms and process optimization; highly organized with the ability to manage concurrent requisitions effectively
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for cutting-edge industries, cross-functional partnerships, and contributing to meaningful organizational outcomes

Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

  • Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing requirements and develop comprehensive recruitment roadmaps
  • Execute all phases of the hiring process, including candidate identification, screening, interviewing coordination, and selection support
  • Utilize innovative sourcing methodologies, including social recruiting, employee referral program management, industry associations, and alternative talent channels
  • Assess applicant qualifications against both role-specific competencies and organizational values; provide consultation to leadership on hiring decisions
  • Lead compensation discussions and extend employment offers in accordance with established equity frameworks
  • Work cross-functionally with senior leadership to optimize recruitment workflows, key performance indicators, and technology platforms
  • Enhance organizational visibility through participation in talent acquisition events, campus recruitment initiatives, and sector-specific forums
  • Generate analytical reports that support strategic workforce planning initiatives
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as business needs evolve
