Exciting Opportunity for a Swiss CNC Machinist!

Are you ready to take your machining career to the next level? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swiss CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality precision components. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading raw materials with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilizing a range of gages and measuring instruments to ensure strict adherence to tolerance requirements.
  • Implementing process improvements to streamline setup and machining times.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of finished work to ensure compliance with specifications using various measuring tools.
  • Maintaining and cleaning company equipment through daily and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Contributing to the organization and upkeep of our Machine Shop environment.
  • Adhering to AS9100 requirements and stringent safety procedures at all times.
  • Providing valuable feedback and insights for continuous process improvement.
  • Sharing your expertise and knowledge of manufacturing processes to train and support newer team members.
  • Performing geometry, tool wear offsets, and program edits to optimize machining processes.
  • Accurately tracking and recording job progress and identifying areas for improvement in both written and electronic formats.
  • Upholding all quality policies and instructions to ensure exceptional standards are consistently met.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with CNC Swiss lathes, demonstrating proficiency and mastery of the craft.
  • Strong ability to interpret and understand mechanical drawings with precision.
  • Proficient knowledge and application of various CNC controls, as well as M and G code.
  • Capability to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss machines with minimal assistance.
  • Self-sufficiency and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfort with mathematical calculations to ensure accurate machining processes.
