Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following

• Perform structural engineering design of temporary structures used in the construction and demolition of buildings. Temporary structures may include shoring, reshoring, falsework, formwork, crane foundations, crane tie-back connections, temporary stability bracing.
• Perform structural engineering design for construction procedures used in the construction and demolition of buildings. Construction procedures may include erection plans, demolition plans, jacking sequences, and post-tensioning sequences.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, MS in Structural is a Plus.
• 8+ years of engineering & design experience
• North Carolina PE is Required. SE Preferred.
• Experience designing to the requirements of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, AWC, and AISI codes.
• Expertise in the analysis and design of reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel and tubing, cold formed steel, timber, masonry, and foundations
• Proficient in Revit, MicroStation, Autocad, and/or other drawing software
• Willingness to travel, as it may be required
