Position Overview
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing structural systems for a diverse range of project types and sizes. You will lead structural analysis, design tasks, and modeling assignments, taking projects from conceptual design through construction documentation. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will help deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that support the firm’s commitment to excellence and client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in structural design, including code compliance, specifications, system integration, and constructability.
- Utilize design software and technology—including Revit, AutoCAD, RAM, and other emerging tools—for project presentation and production.
- Collaborate with Senior Structural Engineers to ensure quality assurance and quality control measures are consistently implemented across all projects.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Mentor and support the development of less experienced staff, promoting technical excellence and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited program or equivalent in education and experience required for professional licensure.
- Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 10 years of structural engineering experience across a range of building types, materials, and project scales.
- Strong knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in structural engineering or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with current license.
- NCEES registration and NSPE membership.
- CSI-CDT certification.
- LEED AP BD+C and/or WELL AP certification.
- Experience with RISA or RAM Elements software.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams.
