What they’re looking for:
•Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio.
•PTCB-certified.
•PTCB’s Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) credential required within 2 years of hire date.
Hours and compensation potential:
•Full time position.
•Hourly range of $19.93-$27.44(10 yrs exp = $23.45) depending on experience.
•Full benefits package including(Medical, Dental, Life, PTO).
What you’ll be doing:
•Acts as a sterile compounding technician and supervises general sterile compounding practices, including but not limited to staff competencies, clean room regulatory compliance, sterile compounding operations, and personnel performance.
•Oversees general sterile compounding operations and ensures regulatory compliance by maintaining operational standards according to USP Chapter <797>, the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, ACHC, etc.
•Serves as a “designated person” in compliance with USP Chapter <797>.
•Assists with sterile compounding policy review and revisions as needed.
•Manages the scheduling and completion of required sterile compounding competencies for pharmacy personnel.
•Serves as an administrator of the Simplifi 797 software platform.
•Assists with maintenance of the Codonics SLS NDC library.
•Assists with performance reviews for sterile compounding technicians.
•Works with the Pharmacy Technician Coordinator to optimize overall pharmacy technical operations.
•Works with pharmacy buyers to optimize intravenous product stocking and processes.
•Covers sterile compounding technician shifts as required in the schedule.
•Provides feedback to management concerning operations and opportunities for improvement.
•With the Pharmacy Technician Coordinator, provides feedback to management regarding the performance of pharmacy technician personnel.
