Daily Workflow:
» The Staff Engineer supports the Engineering and other departments regarding water system projects and expansion
» Develops an ongoing understanding of the configuration and operation of the water system
» Provides engineering support for decisions related to expansion and operation of the system
» Supports Capital Improvements Projects
We’re Seeking:
» Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
» Four years of related engineering experience with water project experience
» Possession of Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Oregon or ability to obtain within six months of hire; or possession of a certification as an Engineer In Training with ability to obtain Oregon Professional Engineering (P.E.) license within two years of hire date
Additional Skills:
» Knowledge of principles and practices of water system facility design and renovation, water hydraulics, applicable laws and regulations
» Skill in the use of AutoCAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling programs
» Skill in Civil3D, ArcGIS Pro, and Innovyze InfoWater Pro (preferred)
