Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a dynamic opportunity? We are seeking a Bilingual Staff Accountant to play a key role in financial operations at our brand new manufacturing facility in Mexico . This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by accurately inputting data.
- Develop and analyze financial reports using spreadsheets and other reporting tools.
- Prepare general ledger entries, maintain financial records, and reconcile accounts.
- Process payments, including expense accruals and vendor management.
- Evaluate and improve accounting procedures by reviewing and optimizing current processes.
- Research and interpret financial data to answer accounting-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education and training.
- Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (Associate’s degree required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general accounting.
- Experience in manufacturing/cost accounting is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience with ERP systems such as IFS, SAP, SAGE, or Oracle is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
