The Senior Project Manager role is centered on managing construction projects to ensure they are completed within defined budgets, schedules, and quality standards. This position offers significant autonomy and direct responsibility for budget management while fostering collaboration among internal teams and external stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and contractors. The role is based in Fort Wayne office and is not remote.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, budgets, resource allocations, and key milestones.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses to ensure optimal execution of projects.
  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee cost estimation and procurement processes, ensuring adherence to the financial plan.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to meet project objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Implement safety protocols and best practices to safeguard all personnel on-site.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction phases.
  • Adjust timelines and resource allocations as needed based on project developments and challenges.
  • Negotiate contracts with stakeholders to ensure favorable terms aligned with project objectives.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality delivery of services and materials.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in commercial construction project management.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and project management methodologies.
  • Expertise in tools such as Procore, CMIC, ASTA, Excel, and Bluebeam.
