Key Responsibilities

• Resident Evaluation & Treatment Planning: Assess residents’ speech and language needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Activity Selection: Create activities to improve independence in daily living.

• Progress Monitoring: Track resident performance, adjust treatments as needed, and prepare detailed reports.

• Rehabilitation Support: Assist residents recovering from illness, injury, or other conditions.

• Safe Environment: Promote a clean, safe, and supportive setting for residents and staff.

• Confidentiality: Protect resident information and maintain trust.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care and progress.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program.

• Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License.

• Experience preferred, but new graduates/CFYs are welcome to apply.

Location: Based in the Mohawk Valley, with coverage at nearby facilities including Utica and Rome.
