Sonography Supervisor

About the Role:
This position oversees daily operations and staffing for the Ultrasound Department, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting both clinical procedures and department planning.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations and staff within the Ultrasound Department.

• Ensure compliance with quality imaging standards and patient record regulations.

• Perform clinical ultrasound procedures and support ultrasound educators.

• Assist the Radiology Manager with budgeting and long-range planning.

• Provide off-hours phone support for department needs.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (Bachelor’s preferred).

• Current ARDMS certification in Sonography.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive sonography experience, including breast ultrasound.

• Experience with ACR inspections and accreditations.

• Participation in project or budget planning preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lead sonographer experience.

• Experience in a unionized environment.

• Project or budget planning experience.
