We are is representing a Software Engineer II opportunity supporting complex, enterprise-scale systems within a high-security environment.

Position Overview

This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, real-time platforms, large-scale data manipulation systems, and enterprise management solutions.

The Software Engineer II will work independently and within collaborative teams to design, test, and refine mission-critical software components.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance complex software systems
• Analyze documented requirements and translate them into functional design
• Review and test software components to ensure adherence to specifications
• Resolve software problem reports and production defects
• Provide input on hardware/software trade-offs
• Evaluate opportunities for COTS/GOTS integration versus custom development
• Support requirements analysis and decomposition from system-level to component-level
