Compensation: $180,000 – $230,000

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Platform team. This role focuses on building and scaling a custom agent-based AI platform designed to process multiple gigabytes of data daily. The platform supports customers in ingesting, transforming, and analyzing structured and semi-structured data.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and build a distributed data platform that is reliable and extensible.

• Develop a data ingestion layer, transformation engine, query engine, and workflow system.

• Maintain autonomy and ownership over assigned projects.

• Uphold best-in-class engineering practices, including code reviews, developer tooling, documentation, and testing.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building high-scale distributed data systems in cloud-native environments.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, C, C++, Kotlin, Go, Rust, Scala).

• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.

• Prior experience working at a startup.

• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City Area.
