Our client is a prominent New York Personal Injury Law Firm based in Mineola (Long Island). They seek a Senior Paralegal to report directly to its partners and work full-time in the office.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
Must be Bi-Lingual and speak English and Spanish
5 years’ experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice
Ability to talk to clients.
Preparing and filing all pleadings/complaints, bills of particulars, retrieval of medical records, Medicare and Medicaid final reporting, and various facets of the Plaintiff’s personal injury litigation.
Scheduling as needed
Drafting and responding to discovery
Assisting with mediation and deposition
Trial Preparation
Client Contact/intakes
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience as a personal injury paralegal reporting to a partner
Ability to prioritize and multitask many cases at one time
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge in Time Matters, e-filing, and all Microsoft suite of products.
