Job Overview

Seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge internal combustion systems. This role focuses on designing, validating, and implementing complex engine systems for industrial applications. The successful candidate will lead technical projects, mentor junior team members, and ensure timely delivery of innovative designs, collaborating closely with engineering teams to uphold rigorous safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 or more years progressive experience in the full lifecycle design and development of internal combustion systems.
  • Expertise in failure mode analysis and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software, with a strong preference for experience in precision modeling and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects and mentor junior team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
  • Familiarity with a variety of fuel-based engine systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute complex engineering assignments, leading the design, development, and validation of internal combustion systems and related components.
  • Plan and manage technical projects, addressing product or process challenges through innovative design solutions and system improvements.
  • Develop and refine engine components using advanced 3D modeling software, ensuring alignment with precise technical specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews, consolidating findings and presenting outcomes to engineering teams and senior leadership.
  • Provide technical mentorship to less experienced engineers and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Drive the implementation of new concepts and methodologies to enhance product performance and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to workplace safety standards.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by management to support organizational objectives.
