Position
The Sr Manager, Government Sales is responsible for managing and directing the government sales strategy in collaboration with front-line Government sellers. This role involves leading and managing a team of 8+ sellers, motivating, and coaching them to achieve strong performance results. Position is remote and candidates can live anywhere within commute distance to NYC.
Responsibilities
· Develop and implement sales generation strategies to support new Government business.
· Identify retention opportunities to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
· Lead and manage a team of 8+ sellers.
· Motivate, coach, and guide the team to achieve strong performance results. Provide strategic leadership and support to ensure team success.
· Support additional non-selling and administrative functions as needed.
· Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by business management.
Requirements
· 2-4 years of team management experience. 2-4 years of sales management selling to government agencies
· Expertise in government procurement -prefer wireless experience.
· Strong strategic leadership skills.
· Proficiency in customer acquisition
· Bachelor’s degree
Base Salary $110K-$190K -OTE -$200K-$280K
