📍 Location: South Windsor, CT
Perform full setups and operation of CNC turning (lathe) machines
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
Make program edits, offsets, and adjustments to meet tight tolerances
Select and apply proper cutting tools, feeds, and speeds
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement process improvements
Maintain high production output while ensuring top quality standards
Complete all required production documentation (scrap, counts, time logs)
Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment
Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists and operators
Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of CNC turning (lathe) setup and operation experience
Strong understanding of G-code editing and machine controls
Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Ability to hold tight tolerances and work independently
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Must meet ITAR/EAR compliance requirements
Experience with multi-axis CNC lathes
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Leadership or mentoring experience
