📍 Location: South Windsor, CT
Perform complete setups and operation of CNC milling machines
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Make program edits and optimize machining processes
Select tooling and determine appropriate feeds and speeds
Run first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet specifications
Monitor production runs and make real-time adjustments as needed
Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
Maintain production efficiency while ensuring high-quality output
Accurately complete all required production documentation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Support training of junior machinists and operators
Follow all company safety and operational procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of CNC milling setup and operation experience
Strong understanding of multi-axis milling operations
Proficiency with blueprint reading and GD&T
Experience with precision inspection tools
Ability to work independently and manage complex setups
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Must comply with ITAR/EAR regulations
Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
Familiarity with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)
Lean manufacturing or process improvement experience
Leadership or mentoring experience
