Job Description
COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our company is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of CNC machines globally. The business has a history dating back 100 years Global revenues total approximately $225 million, supported by 700+ employees concentrated in manufacturing and selling sites in the US, Switzerland and China. The business is managed by region with a lean corporate leadership team.

EDUCATION:
- B.S. / B.A. Degree in Accounting
- CPA designation or MBA degree strongly preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2-4 years working as a senior accountant and/or staff accountant (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Experience completing general accounting in accordance with US GAAP and financial close functions in ERP systems, with Oracle JDE experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience working for a global accounting firm (Big 4) a plus
- Demonstration of increasing levels of responsibility and experience
SPECIFIC TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES:
- Strong understanding of US GAAP Accounting principles
- Highly analytical, and driven to prepare and analyze financial reports, data sets and models
- Excellent project management skills, including managing deadlines
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work productively across the organization
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support month-end close process, including preparation and recording of journal entries as assigned
- Support the completion of the monthly financial package
- Provide explanations for expense variances noted in the monthly financials
- Act as administrator for Avalara for the sale tax functions
- Assist with weekly Accounts Payable payment runs, utilizing JP Morgan Access
- Collaborate with Human Resources to support payroll postings and commissions payments
- Prepare supporting schedules for the audit
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting processes and procedures
- Complete special projects as assigned
Salary & Benefits:
- $90,000 – $100,000 and 10% targeted annual bonus dependent on Company results.

In-Office Requirement Statement:
- Hybrid work environment (three days in the office and two days remote) to start once the candidate is fully trained.
