Our highly innovative client is looking for a talented and motivated Sales Director – Life Sciences to join their team. Our client is a healthcare technology startup that focuses on improving clinical trial recruitment, particularly for neurodegenerative disease research. They provide guidance and a platform to make patient recruitment faster and more efficient.
This new member of our client’s executive leadership team will define the vision for how their Life Sciences team operates and functions daily, and execute the plan to make it happen. You will draw from your extensive experience and success growing business with pharma and biotech clients and bring new perspectives and industry connections to identify business development opportunities.

Qualifications of the Sales Director – Life Sciences:

- 4+ years of sales experience at a life sciences company
- Understand how executives and directors at life sciences companies evaluate new partnerships
- Passionate about using technology to improve clinical research
- Excited about working at a high-growth company and helping them grow
- Trusted advisor and leader who sets a high bar, develops and grows their team to perform today and tomorrow, and liaises effectively with internal and external business partners and customers
- Go-getter attitude with communication skills to work collaboratively across all key functions of an organization
Responsibilities of the Sales Director – Life Sciences:

- Lead the business development function for our client’s current life sciences partners while dictating their expansion strategy to grow business
- Become a champion for their life sciences partners – monitor and ensure that the company is supporting, enabling and empowering partners to succeed at all times across the company
- Cultivate and grow long-term relationships with partners within their network, understanding how partners function internally, and what they value in vendors
- Identify new business development opportunities through existing industry connections or networking channels, such as industry conferences
- Discover opportunities to develop new products and initiatives to improve the partner experience
- Build, manage, and grow the Life Sciences team internally
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the sales, product, and business development teams
