Safety, Health and Environmental Manager – Plant Level

Must have at least (8+) years of plant safety experience within heavy manufacturing operations (such as automotive, metals, foundries, smelter, aerospace) with a metric-based approach to industrial safety.  The EHS Manager will drive the strategic direction of the EHS program for (200) plant employees and will directly supervise an EHS Professional.  Reports to the General Manager at the facility.

Bachelor of Science degree required (safety, environmental or science related technical degree).

Key areas should include the ability to create and roll out new initiatives; previous experience managing an EHS Management System (understanding and using metrics to manage the program – key performance indicators) with strong manufacturing background.
