Seeking a skilled Machinery Engineer (Rotating Equipment) to provide technical expertise on the performance, reliability, and operation of rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers, across multiple plants. The role involves equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, failure investigation, and field support for commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial rotating equipment and a strong understanding of industry standards and analysis tools. Frequent travel to other facilities is required.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for the operation and reliability of compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), pumps, fans, and blowers in various plants.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of rotating equipment, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance plans.
Deliver field support for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on equipment failures to enhance reliability and prevent future issues.
Participate in workshops to assist in maintenance planning and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of progressive experience with rotating equipment in the chemical, refinery, pulp & paper, steel or power generation industries.
Proficiency in machinery vibration data analysis.
Experience with CMMS systems, including SAP.
ISO Category III Vibration Analyst certification and SKF Certified Machine Inspection certification preferred.
Familiarity with industry standards (API, ASME, PIP).
Able to work in the US now or in the future without sponsorship.
