Temp to Hire position (6 months)

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate with a biology background to join an analytical development team at a rapidly growing biotech company. The successful candidate will support research programs to bring novel medicines to the clinic. This position is a great opportunity for experienced associates as well as recent graduates to expand their skills in state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques while accelerating therapeutic development in gene therapy.

Requirements for the Research Associate – Molecular Biology

  • BS or MS in molecular biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences field, with 1-3 years of experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • At least one year industry experience.
  • Experience with bioanalytical techniques such as ELISA, PCR, and immunogenicity assays.
  • Experience with high-throughput assays, including handling 384-well plates.
  • Experence with molecular biology techniques including PCR, DNA and RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, and western blotting.
Responsibilities for the Research Associate- Molecular Biology
  • Independently conduct various immunoassays (e.g., PK Bridging ELISA, direct ELISA, Sandwich ELISA) to support preclinical and clinical studies. Familiar with working with high-throughput assays, including handling 384-well plates.
  • Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, DNA and RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, and western blotting.
  • Maintain cell lines using aseptic techniques.
  • Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven startup environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
  • Manage inventory of necessary materials.
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping, following specified formats with a passion for accuracy and precision.
