As a Registered Nurse you will provide health screening, coordination of health referrals, and work in close collaboration with prescribers and staff.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

  • Participates in the development, writing and execution of the treatment plan
  • Provides crisis intervention services as needed, including offsite in the community
  • Conducts evaluations and identifies critical impairments that become the focus of treatment form effective planning and implementation of treatment
  • Develops clear treatment strategies based on specific needs of each consumer and composed as a formal treatment plan and percentage plan to the treatment team and consumer
  • Documents all services in accordance with Federal/State regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Your skills and qualifications: 

  • NYS Department of Education Registered Professional Nurse
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience providing direct clinical service to the population served by the assigned clinical program is strongly preferred.
  • Broad clinical knowledge of psychiatric disorders, and psychiatric diagnosis
  • Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required for local and regional travel
