Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Nights) – Tulsa, OK

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Labor & Delivery unit for night shifts. In this rewarding role, you will provide expert nursing care to expectant mothers and their families throughout the labor and delivery process. You will utilize your specialized knowledge and critical thinking skills to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby, working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of laboring patients, including maternal and fetal well-being.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on the patient’s condition and the medical plan of care.
• Continuously monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs, interpreting data and intervening appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including pain management techniques.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery experience.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean births, providing skilled nursing care during the delivery process.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly and effectively to obstetric emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current and valid Oklahoma license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) and Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Preferred:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Labor & Delivery.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $65,000 – $82,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
• Signing Bonus: $20,000
