Job Summary:

The Regional Nurse Manager oversees and supports a team of infusion nurses across a designated geographic region, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant delivery of specialty pharmacy infusion services. This role combines clinical leadership, operational management, and strategic planning to drive excellence in patient care and nursing performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision:
    • Manage, mentor, and evaluate a regional team of home infusion nurses and clinical staff.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support professional development.
    • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, protocols, and standards.
  • Clinical Oversight:
    • Oversee the delivery of infusion therapy, ensuring compliance with physician orders, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Serve as a clinical resource to nursing staff, patients, and referral sources regarding therapy management and patient care.
    • Monitor and ensure appropriate documentation and adherence to best practices.
  • Quality & Compliance:
    • Conduct regular audits, quality assurance checks, and patient outcome reviews.
    • Ensure regional compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, The Joint Commission, and state board of nursing regulations.
    • Support investigation and resolution of patient complaints or adverse events.
  • Operational Management:
    • Collaborate with pharmacy operations, sales, and intake teams to support timely patient onboarding and service delivery.
    • Manage nurse scheduling, coverage, and productivity metrics.
    • Participate in budgeting, cost containment, and staffing strategies.
  • Travel & Communication:
    • Travel within the assigned region to meet with nurses, patients, and referral sources.
    • Facilitate regular regional team meetings, virtual trainings, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current and unrestricted RN license in applicable state(s).
    • CRNI® (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) 
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in home infusion or specialty pharmacy.
    • Minimum32 years of nurse management or leadership experience.
    • Proven ability to lead remote teams and oversee regional operations.
    • Multi state responsibility preferred
  • Skills:
    • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and critical thinking abilities.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
