The National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts in the rigid and flexible packaging industry. This role requires a strong background in packaging sales, business development, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling packaging solutions to large CPG’s in the food and beverage market.
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in rigid and flexible packaging markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
Manage and expand relationships with key national and regional accounts.
Provide technical support and consultative selling to customers.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive account management.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Experience: 7+ years of sales experience in rigid and/or flexible packaging, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed (up to 50% depending on territory).
