Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Redevelopment Associate Attorney to join their project development team. This role focuses on redevelopment and land use matters, involving both public and private sector projects. Responsibilities include:

• Negotiating and drafting contracts related to redevelopment and land use projects
• Advising clients on municipal governance, zoning, and regulatory compliance
• Assisting with state and federal tax incentives and structured financing deals
• Handling legal issues related to public-private partnerships and government approvals
• Managing project timelines, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with local and state laws

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant legal experience
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Experience with redevelopment law, land use, municipal governance, or public finance is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work directly with clients
